Introduction
What is SQL?
A database stores an app's data: users, products, orders, messages. A relational database stores it in tables, a bit like spreadsheets, with columns (fields) and rows (records).
SQL (pronounced "sequel" or "S-Q-L") is the language you use to create those tables and to read, add, change and delete their data.
Example table: students
| id | name | city | marks |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ali | Lahore | 85 |
| 2 | Sara | Karachi | 92 |
| 3 | Bilal | Lahore | 78 |
